A SEMI-DETACHED HOUSE BECOMES SMART.
RENOVATE YOUR WAY TO A SMART HOME.
The dream of an intelligent home.
After 18 years, it was simply about time: Marc and Susanna Fischer decided to completely renovate their home. However, they not only wanted their home to look beautiful, they also wanted it to be able to do something.
For this reason, the technology in the entire building was modernised and networked by the implementing specialists from Elektro Beckhoff, making the Fischers' house a smart home.
Planning and implementation made possible by:
Whether it be renovation or new construction, by leaving the planning and implementation to the experts, one achieves better results. The right contact for the planning was quickly found in the form of Martin Strenge, partner of architect Frank Drewes. The architectural office drewes+strenge frequently uses eNet SMART HOME for projects of this kind and played a decisive role in their implementation. Markus Berenspöhler from Elektro Beckhoff GmbH in Verl, who has already implemented many larger eNet SMART HOME systems, is an expert Service Partner.
Free positioning of the switches.
The family are amateur technology enthusiasts; both are also big fans of smart switch systems. The simple mechanics combined with the familiar feel not only make them an easy solution for the family to use, but also fits perfectly into their style of living.
However, tearing down walls or creating complex new cable ducts was out of the question. For this reason, a radio-based alternative was chosen for the renovation. The branded products from eNet SMART HOME fulfilled this requirement and at the same time were able to meet the high design demands.
Laying cables and the usual hurdles, such as ceiling and door heights, ceased to be a problem in the planning. Existing switches were integrated and new switches were placed freely in the rooms as desired.
The fact that a switch can even be built directly into a piece of furniture and smartly networked continues to delight the clients.
This would not have been possible with a cable solution. In addition, the clients did not want a standard solution. Everything had to be frameless, design-driven and implemented in a sophisticated way down to the last detail.
Simple programming – more comfort.
With regard to the technical aspects of the installation, the clients showed a lot of initiative and took over parts of the programming themselves.
Various lighting scenarios, in which conventional lamps were used in addition to indirect lighting, were defined by the clients themselves. The dynamic time control for the outdoor lighting with calendar from eNet SMART HOME partner brand JUNG caused a sensation. Since a calendar is stored here that takes into account the changing solar phases, the timer does not have to be adjusted all the time. Especially convenient: Light and blinds and other intelligent functions can now be conveniently controlled via a wall switch or smartphone via eNet SMART HOME app.
